The album, MY KING, brings a different sound to the worship genre. With Robbie's biggest musical influences being David Crowder, Delirious, and Switchfoot, the music incorporates catchy melodies, live drums with drumloops, strong guitar playing, and numerous effects to make a passionate and unique sound. Never settling for the status quo, Robbie and his producer, Lee Krabbe, experimented with several sounds and ideas in an effort to be as creative as possible, pushing the envelope for something different and new. The purpose of the music is simply to share that hope always exists no matter the situation.
